DJ BPM bio & links
Irish born female DJ producer/artist and DJ.
DJ BPM began her music production career making experimental music for fine art performances which where showcased at OMSK events and at fine art studios such as “Mad Cow’s Tea Party” at Catherine Grove Studios.

In 1996 DJ BPM formed drum and bass band “Sampleterrorist” a live experimental Drum and Bass band, incorporating a real drummer and a drum sequencer. Nigel Kennedy and Eat Static were amongst those who praised the bands unique sound at the Megadog festival in Cornwall. The band disbanded in 1999 and DJ BPM returned to focus on solo projects.

As a Drum and Bass DJ she played on the underground scene for crews and soundsystems such as Amorphous, Reknaw, Unsound, Siren, A.I.R, and went on to play at some of Londons most reknowned venues such as Mass and playing support on the same line ups as some of the most well know DJ’s and producers in the world including Pendulum, Nicky Black Market, Aphrodite, Kenny Ken, Andy C Ixindamix, Meltdown Mickey from Spiral Tribe/Audiotrix, Precision Cuts and many more. She also continued with her own emotive and experimental music productions, releasing a collection of her own productions “Atheist Heaven” on CD. These combine a diversity of influences from Irish Traditional Music with Grime, Jimi Hendrix with breakbeats, William Cooper and Sandie Shaw with Drum and Bass,

Playing Dubstep in Colombia as part of Bogotrax International Electronic Music Festival was an amazing experience and live broadcast and interviews on two of Bogota’s biggest student radio stations.

For many years she hosted a saturday night show on http://www.wirelessfm.net/, inviting many talented guests like Billy the Kid (USA), Ixindamix, Wakkatomic (Fr), Maxx Vinyl, Switch (Amorphous), Nik The Decks, DJ Buster, SLB, Manga, New Orda, Alive to name but a few.
