We are excited to present Elijah and Skilliam aka Butterz, considered to be on the forefront of the grime scene and play on the most respected pirate radio station in London RINSE FM. Upstairs All City Records present Onra (album launch)

They started playing regularly on Rinse about 2 years ago (Tuesday nights 1-3am) and have helped along a new wave of grime producers. They run the Butterz blog, which is probably the most influential grime blog round these days. They are also behind Grime forum which is an active part of the grime scene.

Their sets are high-energy and aggressive and they avoid the hype that surrounds lots of grime DJs. They play a lot of tunes from new and unknown producers and they focus on instrumentals rather than vocals, trying to bring the grime DJs to the fore rather than the MCs.

The Butterz vinyl label came out this year, with Bipolar EP by TERROR DANJAH and Quality Street which is an EP of tracks by Silencer, Royal T and SRC up next They point to SRC, Royal-T, D.O.K., and Swindle and Terror Danjah as producers to watch in 2010.
