Baobinga (Build/Trouble & Bass/ Soul Jazz)

Fresh from his album launch party at Fabric London, Baobinga will be hitting Dublin town come June 17 for the Dublin leg. This deejay can move any dancefloor as he blends tracks from across the genre pool to keep it nice n’ bubblin on the bass heavy tip!

As well as releasing on imprints such as Soul Jazz and Trouble and Bass, Baobinga heads up his own label Build. He’s just about to release a collaborative album entitled “Joint Ventures” with like minded artists such as Cosmin TRG, Ginz, Hyetal, Mensah, I.D. and more, details of which are currently buzzing about the internets.

His early releases ‘Tounge Riddim’ ‘Ride It’ and ‘I Get Ruff’ have attracted huge support from artists such as Modeselektor, Jackmaster, Sinden, Martyn, MJ Cole and 2562 and many more besides, and from what we’ve heard of his new album it’s safe to say we’re looking forward to this one!

Machinedrum (Planet Mu, Lucky Me, Hotflush, Werck)

Also double topping the bill for the night New York underground legend Travis Stewart aka Machinedrum will be in town with his mutant Juke/Rave/Jungle pirate ship in tow. The man behind hotly tipped electronic outfits Sepalcure, Neon Black and Syndrone as well as his Machinedrum moniker, he’s just about to release new album “Rooms” on Planet Mu, which promises his own unique take on the 160bpm footwork style with all kinds of jungle, hip-hop, rave and r&b influences in the brew.

Having shared stages with the likes of Cooly G, Clark, Mount Kimbie, Lone, Teebs, Kode9 and Dorian Concept in recent months, watch out for ‘nuf dancefloor pressure and next level tuneage. Check his recent fact mix below for a quick taster.
