This gig sees Meljoann launching the tasty new label Boy Scout Audio and its first release, the Tour Guide EP by Meljoann which is available for free or by donation download.

From the new jack nerd-core of Natural History to Tour Guide’s minimal R&B wonk to the microsound slow jam of Obsess, Meljoann’s Tour Guide EP is the inaugural release from Boy Scout Audio. Originally released in 2008, this work is a continuous mix with ambient interludes. It also features a bonus skweee remix by Scout Hardcastle.

BOY SCOUT AUDIO: a new label. We are fixated on R&B, skwee, and aquacrunk-influenced tracks.
Upcoming releases this year include the new album ‘Squick’ by electro-funk producer-vocalist Meljoann, and a little something from new crunk-step playas Digger.

Having burst onto the live scene last year, Manus Goan has instantly won over an army of Dublin gig-goers with his brand of TechnoCrunkWonkStep that is guaranteed to get dancefloors moving. His set before Kid606 at !Kaboogie went down a storm, and with new material ready to be debuted and releases on the cards, he is certainly one to watch.
